What drugs was he trafficking? Marijuana or something heavier? Marijuana is not illegal in many places. But hard drugs are. And hard drugs are supplied with the support of the US government and military. The system is screwed up.

How so? It just reported the protests...and said what happened. It offers no opinion. Just times and dates and events.

But the responsibility and onus is completely on them to be engaged and take part. They cannot 'opt out' of the system and then complain about the system and expect it to be suspended because they are not a part of it.
Yes I agree...to a point. But this is a symptom of something still terribly wrong in society. WHY do people have this attitude. WHY are they so distrustful of the law and government? THOSE are the issues that need to be addressed.
I agree that leaders should be encouraging jury service if people want to be represented. And I don't know if they are not doing this already.
But it is too easy to blame people for not doing something. It's like blaming JWs for not leaving. When you have a certain mindset it is because of your environment. It takes a lot to change that. We need to stop blaming victims of our societies.

by booker-t infor the past 4 1/2 years i have heard everything said about president obama and now the lastest "obama being the anti-christ" just have me laughing my head off.
where do people get nonsense like this?
do they just sit around the kitchen table and say "what are we going to say next about obama and michelle?

Obama is my worldview. We are products of the same culture. I was completely transported to a higher realm by his first nstional speech at kerry's convention
I felt the same listening to Michelle Obama...they are great speakers.
So what? They give you an evangelical feeling. Good salespeople can do that to anyone.
Obama is a war criminal...along with Bush. two sides of the same coin.
And I do get why people are happy when they see their culture represented in government. I don't think it is racist to want to see some ballance and to feel represented. That is what governments are supposed to do. They are supposed to represent the people. All the people.

its not like the president really controls the government anyway
Yes and no...I'm guessing some people haven't noticed the recent powers HE has given himself. YES...he has the power to do that with the flick of a pen. And recently he has. Check it out before claiming he doesn't control anything.
Ultimately the president is just a puppet for corporations...but he is still in a position to give himself a lot of power and control and authority on their behalf.
And I don't care what colour he is or isn't...he is no better than Bush. He is just continuing what Bush and Clinton started.

As much as people want to deny racism in society...this doesn't happen for no reason.
This happens when people have had enough. And people have had enough of a LOT of things at the moment.
I do wonder what Obamas involvement in this was. Why was he fanning the flames on this issue? WHAT IS HE UP TO while everyone is focused on this? The people are getting angry...and he is focussing their anger on something that is easy to get attention ard raise deeply felt feelings and hurts. WHAT IS HIS PLAN? More of societies freedoms being signed away? More unquestionable authority being given to himself? Will anyone notice while society implodes and everyone fights against one another? Black against white...white against black.
WE ARE NOT THE ENEMY of each other...the government is our enemy. They are feeding this hatred. We can either let them. Or we can focus on what is really happening. And it isn't about race. It's about money and control. In the end, black or white we are all screwed if we don't wake up to what they are doing. WE are all in the same boat. And it is sinking fast.
